3 Let love and faithfulness never leave you;
bind them around your neck,
write them on the tablet of your heart.
4 Then you will win favor and a good name
in the sight of God and man. (Proverbs 3:3-4 NIV)

When we find favor with others we are well liked and everyone wants to be well liked. When we practice loveing on others and kindness we find favor much easier to gain. Then when we add in our faithfulness to the equation we find favor with both God and man.

Having a good name means much in this life. Being well though of and having a good name goes much deeper than being popular. Popularity fades, but a good name endures.
