let them ever sing for joy.
Spread your protection over them,

To be able to take refuge somewhere or in someone, there must be a level of protection afforded.

In our relationship with Christ, that relationship provides an eternal refuge. Even though our situation may not be the best here on earth, He provides comfort in His refuge even here.

Least we forget, Christ is where we find our refuge.
