38 For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons,[a] neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, 39 neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord. (Romans 8:38-39 NIV)

Being separated from those we love can be hard. However, our love is not diminished by distance or time. In fact it most often grows with separation. The knowledge that it will never fail or fade is what makes it grow stronger.

How much more so is God’s love for his creation.

We may choose to separate ourselves from that love, this is our choice. But God is always there to come back to if we but will.
