3 Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves, 4 not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others. (Philippians 2:3-4 NIV)

Having ambition is not a bad thing, unless all that we do is done out of this ambition. When there is no humility to our ambition, when there is no valuing anything beyond our ambition it turns purely to self interest.

When we humble ourselves, give others credit and seek significance over success we find that the world truly opens to us.
