How we perceive a situation is typically how we determine the motive, or reason why it is happening.

When we assume ill, then we expect an ill outcome. When we assume good, then we expect a good outcome. But with God, there is no ill intent. Even when he must dicipline us, like a loving parent, He doe not wish for a negative outcome.

Everything is done from a place of love, thus the intent is always good…even in the harshest situations.
