18 And I also say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of Hades will not overpower it. (Matthew 16:18 CSB)

God build the church upon Peter and he can do similar works with us…if we will but let him. Even Peter denied Christ three times before he was broken enough to allow all of the work Christ had planned for his life.

It may be that Christ has to break us down first to build us up.
