13 Blessed are those who find wisdom,
those who gain understanding,
14 for she is more profitable than silver
and yields better returns than gold. (Proverbs 3:13-14 NIV)

The value of wisdom gained can far surpass monetary gain. When this was written gold and silver were the primary tender. However, the concept has just as much relevance today.

Think about the amount of knowledge we hold in our hands today. At the touch of a finger we have the ability to learn vast amounts about any subject. Can you imagine how the scholars of this ancient time would scoff at how we yield such power.

God provides great wisdom through scripture as well. But, just like the other it is in how we yield such power.
