13 May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. (Romans 15:13 NIV)

Life can be difficult. We feel tired and overwrought, burdened with the weight of the world. But this is not the life we are called to. To live with overflowing hope and power through the Spirit, this is where God wants us.

The world may try to crush us with overwhelming burden, but the Spirit’s overflowing hope can overcome the world. We can trust God to grant us the power for each day. But much like the mana He provided, it may be for but a day, maybe even just for the moment.

But with this power comes joy and peace.
