17 A friend loves at all times,
and a brother is born for a time of adversity. (Proverbs 17:17 NIV)

While we may have a lot of friends (even outside social media), there are typically a much smaller number who we would call brothers (or sisters).

We are not speaking about blood relatives, but those who are so close we use this term.

And while a friend may love you a brother is there for you through the worst of times. They are the ones we can count on no matter what card life has dealt us.

These true brothers are worth more than gold or silver.
