Consider that our lives are being shaped each and every day.

Thomas Merton said, “Every moment and every even of every man’s life on earth plants something in his soul.”

We can be shaped by divine forces or we can allow ourselves to be shaped by the world. But as Merton says, every event plants seeds. It is up to us and our allowance of God in our lives to water these seeds properly.
