My goal is that they may be encouraged in heart and united in love, so that they may have the full riches of complete understanding, in order that they may know the mystery of God, namely, Christ, 3 in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. (Colossians 2:2-3 NIV)

Encouraging others brings with it a wealth of hidden treasures for those being encouraged and those doing the encouraging. Who among us cannot do with a little encouragement.

Not only is it a way to pass on wisdom and knowledge, but love is conveyed when we work to build others up.
