He says, “Be still, and know that I am God;
I will be exalted among the nations,
I will be exalted in the earth.” (Psalms 46:10 NIV)
Taking the time to “be still” in our rush, rush, rush world is quickly becoming the most difficult thing we should strive to do.
Regardless of whether for religious or personal reasons, taking time to be still and contemplate the day, our lives, our hopes and dreams is needed more than we realize.
Otherwise we tend to be ruled by the world and our schedules. We feel out of control and unable to get a breath.
Building moments in our day to reflect should be priority one going into the new year. So much better if that part of that time is spent with God!
