Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need. (Hebrews 4:16 NIV)
When we come before someone with confidence it is apparent in not only how we act and speak, but in our physical bearing as well. There is typically little or no fear in confidence. It is a level of assurance that supersedes anything that might undermine.
If confidence comes easily to you, then you understand this well. But if it does not it can seem like an alien concept.
Yet the Father tells us how we might approach his throne with grace and confidence. One name provides this confidence.
