10 God, create a clean heart for me
and renew a steadfast[a] spirit within me.

or take your Holy Spirit from me.

and sustain me by giving me a willing spirit. (Psalm 51:10-12 CSB)

A good spring cleaning just tends to make us feel better. Getting rid of the things we no longer need, cleaning everything and putting it in order. It may seem a daunting task at first but once done we can sit back and feel good about how we have our space in order.

Our lives may need a good spring cleaning as well. A time to cleanse our hearts and renew our spirit. To ask forgiveness and give thanks for all that God has done for us over the last year and what He will do for us in the coming year.

Part of this process is to open ourselves and ask for a willing spirit so that we may accomplish God’s divine plan through us. Sustaining us and continually moving us toward the path God has set for our lives.
