Sometimes we need to be shaken out of our current way of living. God may allow or may create a storm. However, we can bet that once we have righted our course He will guide us safely into the right port.

We do not like to think of God in this way. We want the loving God who simply answers our call. In other words a genie. We do, though, have a loving God who my put us in situations for our own good. To correct our path or to move us to a new path all together.

We want clear signs and a road that is straight, smooth and without weather. But life is not that way. Life is a lesson, you learn it when you’re done.
