No One?

1 The fool says in his heart, “There’s no God.”
They are corrupt, and they do vile deeds.
There is no one who does good. (Psalm 53:1 CSB)

This is a pretty direct scripture, but in light of God’s great goodness, we are like dirty rags. We do not, and cannot, do good in and of ourselves. It is through the Spirit that lives in us that good can be derived.

Some may go so far as to say there is no God. However, His glory is self evident all around us. Even in difficulty we can find God’s peace and His hand on us.

Thus, we must attribute what good that is done to God and not ourselves lest Pride become an issue for us.
