A Source of Strength

David was greatly distressed because the men were talking of stoning him; each one was bitter in spirit because of his sons and daughters. But David found strength in the Lord his God. (1 Samuel 30:6 NIV)

Luckily, we do not have to worry too much about people getting mad and stoning us. But that does not mean that we do not end up weary and feeling completely discouraged.

We must draw from internal reserves and seek a source of strength that is greater than our problems. This can begin by bending a knee and seeking Godly wisdom in our times of great distress.
