The mind is where most of our battles work themselves out. Yes, we may have situational issues that assail us, but the mind is the battleground where our views, beliefs and faith is worked out.

When the mind is steadfast and in tune with the heart our faith is strengthened even in difficult times. We see how building our lives on the everlasting Rock that is our Lord and Savior is really our only option. Everything else is sinking sand as the song goes.

It is in cultivating this steadfast mind where we are able to link our emotional heart, our intellectual views and our faithful acceptance of Christ and his plan. Creating a bedrock of strong faith that he will see us through no matter what.
