8 Then I heard the voice of the Lord asking:

Who should I send?
Who will go for us?
I said:

Here I am. Send me. (Isaiah 6:8 CSB)

There are few who heed the call and leave their lives to go on the mission field. Most of us are not willing to speak to someone they work with much less go to a people they do not know or understand.

But herein lies the point. If you accept salvation and have faith you are accepting the mantle to be sent. Your mission field may not be in some far away country. It may start right in your own home. Your business. Your community. Your social media.

I have been writing for over 20 years and this, very much, is one of my mission fields. I do not see all who these words reach, but I trust God to use them as He sees fit. I am but a conduit.

As we begin a new year, maybe it is tome for you to say, “Here I am. Send me.”
