15 But if you bite and devour one another, watch out, or you will be consumed by one another. 16 I say then, walk by the Spirit and you will certainly not carry out the desire of the flesh. (Galatians 5:15-16 CSB)

Do you ever feel like the world is just eating you alive. I know I sure do.

There is no slowing down any more. No taking time, there is just drive, drive, drive. And it can feel consuming.

So why would we strive to consume one another as well? Why not let the Spirt work and build each other up so that we might all be better?

Furthermore, all this striving is, predominantly, just looking to carry out the desires of the flesh. We walk on others to get ahead and this is not the Spirit at work but the flesh.

Yet together we can accomplish so much more than we could ever hope to do alone.

Thus, we should not strive to consume others to meet our own ends, but lift each other up in brotherly love and allow the Spirit to lead.
