Rarely does anger and retribution work well. When we take things into our own hands we are on the path to destruction ourselves.

There is a place for righteousness anger. However, it is not for us to respond. That is God’s area.

When we allow anger to seethe within us how can we expect to do what is honorable in others (or God’s) eyes?

No, our place is to substitute evil for good. To place love in the gap and allow it to spread and push back the darkness.

Then, and only then, are we on the path to our own redemption.
