Faithful & True

4 He will wipe away every tear from their eyes. Death will be no more; grief, crying, and pain will be no more, because the previous things[a] have passed away.

5 Then the one seated on the throne said, “Look, I am making everything new.” He also said, “Write, because these words[b] are faithful and true.” (Revelation 21:4-5 CSB)

A time is coming when all things will be made new.

A time when there will be no more grief, crying or pain.

Some believe this to idyllic to believe. Too wonderful to imagine.

But the time is coming, and no one knows the day or hour, as it will come in a flash.

If you have been reading these devotions each of them point to the one who orchestrates all of life and the life beyond. Some may see that as a crutch. Others as simple fairy tail. But there is ample evidence to the existence of God all around us every day. If I were to stay silent even the stones would cry out.

I write these words because they are faithful and true.
