Spur One Another

24 And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds. (Hebrews 10:24 NIV)

To “Spur” someone does not, necessarily, sound like a good act. But when we have close friends that is exactly what we should be doing. Spurring, goading, pushing, driving and encouraging one another.

Iron sharpens iron as another scripture says, and I have continually found this true. That the act of loving friction of our friends is what moves us toward love and good deeds.
