26 Be angry and do not sin.[a] Don’t let the sun go down on your anger, 27 and don’t give the devil an opportunity. (Ephesians 4:26-27 CSB)
Often people think that, as Christians, we should not get angry. We are supposed to have this continual smile on our faces and walk around in a perpetual state of happiness.
Nothing could be further from the truth. Now, we need to check what makes us angry. Because much of what does has little to do with righteous anger but is selfish anger.
But regardless, anger is a part of life, just like happiness and joy. What we cannot do is allow it to eat us from the inside out. Allow it to be a foothold for the enemy to work his way and seperate us from God.
Dont let the sun go down on your anger.
