6 Therefore, let us leave the elementary teaching about Christ and go on to maturity, not laying again a foundation of repentance from dead works, faith in God, (Hebrews 6:1 CSB)

There is a point where we must step beyond the basics and mature into life, our jobs, our relationships. We move from the elementary to acting with maturity.

We begin to create a foundation based upon the wisdom of maturity and not just the exuberance of youth.

In our work lives this will manifest in promotions or being given greater responsibility. In our relationships this moves us from being interested in another to truly loving them. In our faith life we move from simply learning from scripture and the Spirt to living a life more worthy of God’s love.

We mature, we move on and we begin to live a fuller life.
