23 Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it. (Proverbs 4:23)

When we think about guarding our heart we typically consider the concept to be in love relationships. However, here the scripture is trying to show us that all that we do flows from the heart. Meaning that everything we do for in and through Christ starts with … Love.

We must “have a heart for” the things of Christ.

And what are the things of Christ.

Loving on the people he puts in our path. Loving on the world. Shining upon people who rarely see the light.

It really all boils down to loving on people.
