23 Search me, God, and know my heart;
test me and know my concerns.
24 See if there is any offensive[a] way in me;
lead me in the everlasting way. (Psalm 139:23-24 CSB)

Suffice it to say, others know us more than we probably realize. At the very least they will make value judgements against us based upon our actions.

Thus, how we act with others reflect how we are inside, and who abides with us. If people cannot see Jesus through us you can be they are not seeing us in our best light.

They are getting either a wattered down version of us or possibly a glimpse of the enemy.

We want none of this. We want God to know our heart, test us and help us allow his light to shine through us. By uncovering our offensive ways, He can help us better ourselves.
