12 As far as the east is from the west,
so far has he removed

Reread today’s scripture one more time before proceeding.

How close is the east to the west?

What is the distance between them?

Unanswerable, right? In our finite mind we try to put a location on “East” or “West”. But in this scripture God lets us know that Christ made an insurmountable, uncountable, irrevocable distance between us and our transgressions. He paid the ultimate price to forgive us from them once and for all.
