We live so much of our lives in an online “Follow me” world. We are continually asked to follow “influencers” online.

Some of these are good and add value, but most are nothing more than sensationalist. Looking for crowd acceptance to their online voice.

But the original “influencer” said follow me in a totally different way and for a much different reason. He wanted to make something of his follower, a fisher of men (people), so that his influence would save each and every person they touched.

When we decide to follow Christ not only do we gain greatly through salvation, but we are given a task to fulfill. We are made fishers for people…
