23 The Lord makes firm the steps
of the one who delights in him;
24 though he may stumble, he will not fall,
for the Lord upholds him with his hand. (Psalm 37:23-24 NIV)

When we go through times of stumbling, when life just does not seem to go our way, we can count on God. But we must first make sure that our steps are firm and that we are delighting in the one who holds us up.

When we strive to do the right things, God makes up the rest and makes sure that even in the difficult stretches He is there.
