If I were still trying to please people, I would not be a servant of Christ. (Galatians 1:10 CSB)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I am, somewhat, of a people pleaser. My wife is as well. I think it might be hard to have a servants heart and not be. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">However, there is one area where I do not seek to please others and that would be in my unabashed discussion around scripture. However, I do this too in love. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Here, in my devotions, I strive to bring a good word of love and grace. I may not tackle the harder portions of scripture, but this is due to my desire to uplift others each morning and not get into debates. In discussion, although, I have no issue with straying into the more difficult and direct areas of scripture should the conversation deem. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">While scripture is very clear on topics people often want it to be vague on, we can still speak our words in love. And in truth, as I have said many times before, my devotions are as much for my edification as yours. I feel I need God\u2019s word daily more than others. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Thus, while I may continue in servitude to please others, I will speak on scripture without fear and without reservation. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>10\u00a0For am I now trying to persuade people,[a]\u00a0or God?\u00a0Or am I striving to please people?
