(Psalm 135:15-18 CSB)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The idols we construct&#8230;we are just like them. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">But you say that you do not construct idols. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Do you work too much? Spend all your time on a hobby? Worry constantly about money? Are you a slave to success? Do you put anything in your life above or in front of God, even for a moment?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Then yes you do, and you are just like your idol; blind, deaf and mute. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We idolize many things in this country and call it something else. This may seem a harsh indictment, but it is a well founded one and one I too have worshiped at the feet of at times in my life. I do not say this about others without recognizing it in my own life. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Lord search us and give us insight into the idols we construct so that we may tear them down and worship only You.
