{"id":3671,"date":"2020-11-06T12:55:12","date_gmt":"2020-11-06T12:55:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/xplorechrist.com\/?p=3671"},"modified":"2020-11-06T12:55:12","modified_gmt":"2020-11-06T12:55:12","slug":"quiet-wisdom","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/xplorechrist.com\/?p=3671","title":{"rendered":"Quiet Wisdom"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">17 The calm words of the wise are heeded<br>more than the shouts of a ruler over fools.<br>18 Wisdom is better than weapons of war,<br>but one sinner can destroy much good (Ecclesiastes 9:17-18 CSB)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Have you ever experienced someone who had the capability of remaining calm and quiet when there was pandemonium breaking out all around them?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Someone who used silence as a weapon?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">People doe not like quiet. They will fill any void with speech or noise of some sort. In conversation a too long gap in the spew of words makes everyone uncomfortable. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Silence, and the employment of a calm wisdom, can literally change the course of events. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I have often said, \u201cthe quiet man, is the dangerous man.\u201d Not necessarily meaning physically, thought that can be true, but I view it as they are someone who is not shouting to be heard but willing to wait, patiently, and interject a measured response. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A measured response is almost always better.
