17 Instruct those who are rich in the present age not to be arrogant or to set their hope on the uncertainty of wealth, but on God,[a] who richly provides us with all things to enjoy. 18 Instruct them to do what is good, to be rich in good works, to be generous and willing to share, 19 storing up treasure for themselves as a good foundation for the coming age, so that they may take hold of what is truly life. (1 Timothy 6:17-19 CSB)
Now is the time for us to each look within our storehouses and determine what we might provide to others.
As a nation we need now more than ever before to reach a helping hand out to one another. If you are wealthy there are ways to use that wealth to enrich others lives. If you are not wealthy, but have skills that could provide help to others, now is the time to offer them.
Each of us has been given a spiritual gift. In our spare time we must use these gifts not only for ourselves but for others so they might find comfort and solace.
Ask yourself today what you might do for another. Help one person today. That is really all it takes. If each of us helps one person per day, think of how we will all get through this better than we were before.
