6 The woman saw that the tree was good for food and delightful to look at, and that it was desirable for obtaining wisdom. So she took some of its fruit and ate it; she also gave some to her husband, who was with her, and he ate it. (Genesis 3:6 CSB)
There are so many things that opt to lead us astray. Many are innocuous and seem harmless but hold great sway over our lives. Being overly busy is one of these innocuous things, like the “good and delightful” fruit that led Eve astray.
These things seem to be simply part of our daily lives because we make them such. We do not count the cost of the impact to our selves and our families because we are busy for them.
But we must ask ourselves, is it truly good and delightful fruit or something meant to lead us astray?
