30 Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.’[a] 31 The second is this: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’[b] There is no commandment greater than these.” (Mark 12:30-31 NIV)
We are commanded simply to love. If you really think about it there is nothing simpler than loving and nothing more complex. There is so much in the human condition that gets in the way of us simply loving, and mostly these things are within us along.
If there is no greater commandment, why do we struggle so mightily with loving others?
Is it maybe less about their condition and more about our own?
