I Did It

17 You may say to yourself, “My power and the strength of my hands have produced this wealth for me.” 18 But remember the Lord your God, for it is he who gives you the ability to produce wealth, (Deuteronomy 8:17-18a NIV)

As children we relished the moment when we learned we could do things. The everpresent ring of a toddlers, “I did it” echos through the hallways of time.

But as adults we when we begin to believe that we are the soul source of our success we begin to deceive ourselves. There are many outside influences to our success and many divine influences as well. When we accept that we are an instrument of success and not success itself, then we begin the road to true understanding.
