28 Do you not know?
Have you not heard?
The Lord is the everlasting God,
the Creator of the ends of the earth.
He will not grow tired or weary,
and his understanding no one can fathom.
29 He gives strength to the weary
and increases the power of the weak. (Isaiah 40:28-29 NIV)
We all have times when we feel weak and weary. We feel the weight of the world on our shoulders. Many, like Atlas, decide to shoulder this weight alone. Believing, falsely, that this is what we must do, who we must be.
But it is this ability to show weakness and get others to shoulder our load when it is too heavy. To call upon the Spirit within and the Father above to provide strength beyond our power and understanding.
It is in this weakness we develop strength.
