Therefore God exalted him to the highest place
and gave him the name that is above every name,
10 that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow,
in heaven and on earth and under the earth, (Philippians 2:9-10 NIV)
When we raise a name up above others they are considered exalted. In this world that, typically, comes from some form of success. But what of those who’s names have been exalted through their sacrifice?
The other names tend to fade with time, but those who gave of themselves selflessly are the names we remember the most. These are the people others hold in highest esteem.
